Limited updates for a few days

I’m about to head to the train station to get on the 3+ day leg from Moscow to Irkutsk. Might have access to update when I’m by Lake Baikal, but not sure. The photos are up from Moscow, text coming when I get a chance.

UPDATE: I made it to Irkutsk, and am now on Olkhon Island, in Lake Baikal, Russia. Slow Net connection here, so limited updates until I’m back at Irkutsk.

    enjoy the train ride, mike! i hope that you’re going 3rd-class, the only way to ride on the trans-siberian. :)

    sorry andy, i ended up booking my entire trans-mong ticket in kupe (2nd) class. platz was sold out on the dates i wanted for any trains i thought i could tolerate. oh, and i’m a wimp! :)
